Agriculture and industrial sectors need to be strengthened, he said.

LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) central president Dr Raheeq Abbasi on Friday said that the taxi schemes won’t end the prevailing unemployment in Punjab.

He said the unemployment will be curbed by strengthening the agriculture and industrial sectors.

Abbasi said Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif should resume hiring on vacated seats in the government sectors if he is serious in curbing the unemployment.

Commenting on ‘Apna Rozgar’ scheme of Punjab government, Raheeq Abbasi said that Punjab government should spend 31 billion rupees towards ending electricity load shedding, adding that CM Punjab should worry about 10 lakh families instead of select 50 thousand families.
