Altaf Hussain's anti-taliban stance acknowledged, MQM celebrates
Entire political leadership acknowledges and supports Hussain's stance, says Qamar Mansoor
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Acknowledgment of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain’s position against talibanisation is being celebrated by the MQM.
The ceremony to show their gratitude was held in the Lal Qilla ground in Karachi.
On the occasion, MQM coordination committee’s in charge Qamar Mansoor said that the political leadership of the country has finally agreed to MQM chief’s stance after years of his struggle to make others agree.
Prayers of thankfulness were offered in the Lal Qilla ground after which senator Tanveerul Haq Thanvi offered a special grace for the event.
Mansoor said that Hussain has previously been showing this stand against talibanisation persistently for many years.
He said that Hussain has already said this in the past that talibanisation is pushing the country towards destruction but he was ridiculed for this on many occasions.
Now, however the whole political leadership has acknowledged and supported MQM chief’s stance against talibanisation.
