University in Hyderabad result of people's prayers: Altaf Hussain
MQM chief says he wishes to see Governor Sindh, Malik Riaz laying foundation stone of university
HYDERABAD: (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that setting up of university in Hyderabad is the result of oppressed masses’ prayers, Dunya News reported. He said that he wished to see Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ibad and Malik Riaz laying the foundation stone of the university.
Addressing the ceremony conducted for celebrating the announcement of university on Friday, Altaf Hussain said that the establishment of the university was a longstanding demand of the people of Hyderabad and finally it was being met.
Altaf Hussain announced to distribute sweets worth Rs. 700,000 among citizens and bangles worth Rs. 100,000 among the women of the city as a gift. MQM workers celebrated the announcement of university at Koh-i-Noor Chowk of Hyderabad.
