Govt contacts Sirajul Haq for restoration of dialogue with PTI
Saad Rafique also conveyed government's message to the Jamaat chief.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The government on Saturday contacted Jamaat Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq in a bid to restore negotiations with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Dunya News reported.
According to the details, Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique met Jamaat chief in Lahore in which both leaders exchanged views over restoration of negotiations with PTI.
Khawaja Saad Rafique praised the ‘positive role’ of Jamaat chief for resolution of the political impasse.
In the one on one meeting, Sirajul haq and Saad Rafique talked about ways to restore negotiations with PTI.
Saad Rafique also conveyed government’s message to the Jamaat chief.
