RIGGING ALLEGATIONS
On Monday, Former ECP additional secretary Afzal Khan made startling revelations about rigging in 2013 elections and alleged that justice (r) Riaz Kayani and former chief justice IfthikharChaudhry were responsible for rigging in the elections
Khan opened a Pandora’s Box by boldly claiming that people’s mandate was stolen in the 2013 elections, adding that Riaz Kayani was 90% responsible for in this illegal act. He alleged that Ifthikhar Chaudhry appointed returning officers instead of the ECP and Tasaduq Hussian Jillani was part of the big game as well.
The former additional secretary rhetorically said that how Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar knew that votes were unverifiable even though they were sealed.
Afzal Khan alleged that former chief election commissioner Fakhruddin G Ebrahim had overlooked the colossal rigging on purpose, as he was terrified of whistle blowing.
Last week, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan had accused Najam Sethi, Justice (R) Khalilur Rehman Ramday and the then advocate General Riaz Kayani of rigging the general elections.
