Tahirul Qadri orders PAT workers to clear Parliament House gates

Talks between PAT workers and IG Police Islamabad have been successful

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers have left the gates of Parliament House after negotiations with IG Police Islamabad.

Earlier, PAT workers had gathered at the gates of Parliament House to block the entrance and exit of the members of Parliament. PAT Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri had said directed his workers to gather at the gates and block the exit and entrance of Parliament House. However, the workers have left the gates now.

The major breakthrough has come after Ijaz-ul-Haq and Haider Abbas Rizvi’s negotiations with Dr. Tahirul Qadri. Dr. Qadri talked to media and informed them that PAT believed in the rule of law and held the state institutions in high esteem. He said that Parliament House was a sacred building and that the workers will not block the entrance and exit gates of the house.
