PAT, PTI sit-in: PM gives special task to Punjab Governor
The PM held a one-on-one meeting with the Punjab Governor on Wednesday.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - As the PTI and PAT marches enter their seventh day, PM Nawaz has given a special task to Punjab Governor to utilize all his contacts to end the ongoing political turmoil.
The PM held a one-on-one meeting with the Punjab Governor on Wednesday. The PM said the government will go to the last extent to peacefully resolve the issue.
Punjab Governor said he will make all efforts to bring political stability in the country. According to the sources, the PM has given the special task to politically resolve the matter.
Punjab Governor said that "dialogue" instead of "deadlock" was the need of the hour.
It is important to mention that the Punjab governor is in direct contact with Dr Tahirul Qadri since he had returned back from Canada. He was also in contact when the PAT chief led the revolution march from Model Town towards Islamabad.
