Army urges dialogue to resolve political crisis

DG ISPR has said that patience, wisdom and sagacity were needed to end the political crisis.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In reaction to the present situation in the country, Pakistan army on Wednesday called for dialogue to end five days of protests in Islamabad aimed at bringing down Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif government.

"Situation requires patience, wisdom and sagacity from all stakeholders to resolve prevailing impasse through meaningful dialogue in larger national and public interest," Director General (DG) Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Bajwa said through a recognised Twitter account.
