Asghar Khan case: Aslam Beg files review petition
The petition has been filed by advocate Ali Zafar on behalf of Ex-army chief Aslam Beg.
Former army Chief Mirza Aslam Beg filed review petition against the Supreme Court order in Asghar Khan case on Wednesday.
The petition has been filed through advocate Ali Zafar.
In his petition, Beg stated that he was declared guilty without being given a chance to prove his innocence.
The petition further said that the former army chief was not involved in the process of distribution of cash among politicians and requested for the Supreme Court’s verdict on the issue to be declared as void.
Earlier on Saturday, the federal government had filed a review petition challenging the Supreme Court’s verdict in the Asghar Khan case.
