Three policemen injured, one suspect killed

A search operation to trace out the fleeing outlaws has been initiated
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – An alleged criminal was killed and three policemen were injured after gunmen opened fire on them in the provincial capital on early Monday.
The incident occurred on Kohat Road within the jurisdiction of the Pishtakhra police station when some motorcyclists were signalled to stop by the police. The suspects, instead, resorted to firring on the police.
Police also retaliated that resulted in the death of a fleeing suspect. However, the accomplices of the deceased suspect managed to flee from the crime scene.
A search operation was launched to trace the fleeing outlaws. A comprehensive plan to set up barricades was finalised and the police also cordoned off the area.
