Customs foil bid to smuggle 63 tola gold at Islamabad airport

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Customs officials on Wednesday foiled bid to smuggle 63 tola gold at Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Islamabad.

The gold worth Rs32 lac was being smuggled to Pakistan from Muscat.



Customs officials recovered the gold from the inner jacket pockets of the passenger identified as Liaquat Ali.



The man was arrested and a case has been registered against him.

A legal procedure has also been initiated against him under Customs Act.
