Saqlain Mushtaq joins Zalmi as spin bowling consultant
Doosra inventor Saqlain Mushtaq has joined defending champions Zalmi as spin bowling consultant.
(Web Desk) – Doosra inventor Saqlain Mushtaq has joined Peshawar Zalmi, a franchise with Pakistan Super League (PSL) as its spin bowling consultant for the third installment this year.
Owner of the franchise Javed Afridi announced the development on Twitter and stated: “Taking immense pride in announcing legendary Pakistan spinner @Saqlain_Mushtaq as our spin bowling consultant for the upcoming #HBLPSL.”

PSL 2018 is scheduled to begin on February 22 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Mushtaq has had coaching stints with English county teams and has never been employed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in any capacity. Joining Zalmi is going to be Mushtaq s first collaboration with PCB as the league is managed by the Pakistani cricket authority.
Peshawar Zalmi are the defending champions in 2018 installment of PSL as they had won the league in 2017, final match of which was played in Lahore against Quetta Gladiators.
