DAMBULLA (AFP) - Heavy rain delayed the start of Bangladesh s innings after Sri Lanka set them a target of 312 runs to win in the second one-day international in Dambulla on Tuesday.

Kusal Mendis hit 102 off 107 balls, his maiden one-day international century, before a hat-trick of Taskin Ahmed helped Bangladesh dismiss the home side for 311 runs in 49.5 overs.

Taskin claimed three wickets in the last three balls of the innings to finish with 4-47.

Bangladesh lead the series 1-0 thanks to their 90-run win in the opening match on Saturday.
