Schedule of Pakistan-England series 2015

The first ODI will be played on November 11 at Sheikh Zayed Satdium in Abu Dhabi. The 2nd match of the series will be played at the same venue on November 13. Third game will be played on November 17 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium while the last game of the ODI series will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on November 20.

Three T20Is will be played between the two biggies of Cricketing world. 1st T20I will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on November 26, 2nd will be played on November 27 at the same venue and the 3rd and final T20I, which will also conclude the tour, will be played on November 30 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

So far, 10 T20I have been played between England and Pakistan out of which the visitors have remained victorious in 7 while the other 3 have been won by Pakistan. In ODIs, England has won 42 games while Pakistan has played 28 overall while 2 ended without any result. In Test cricket also, England has always dominated Pakistan with 22 victories against Pakistan’s 16 in the 74 Tests. The remaining 36 Tests were drawn.

England has always had the better of Pakistan in all formats of the game but given the recent forms of both the teams, the series seems set for a brilliant encounter. England has just won the Ashes and their spirits must be high whereas Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe twice during the last few months. Although Pakistan defeated a lesser side, it is quite definite that the home side will enjoy the advantage of the conditions since England batsmen are generally less convincing against Spin in Asia.
