Pakistani cricket fans are angry after two defeats have left Pakistan at the bottom of Pool B.

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sought clarification from Chief Selector Moin Khan on visiting a casino in Christchurch ahead of Pakistan’s clash with West Indies.

Moin Khan has clarified that he had visited the casino because he was directed by the management to keep an eye on the players.

This clarification has raised several questions in the minds of millions of cricket fans in Pakistan. Some say that it would be a matter of grave concern if other players visit these casinos too.

Pakistani cricketers and team management are under extreme pressure following an embarrassing defeat by West Indies in the World Cup Pool B match on Saturday.

The Windies had ended a feeble Pakistan batting effort, dismissing them for just 160 with the final ball of the 39th over.

Pakistan also set a new record for the worst start to a one-day international innings when they collapsed spectacularly to one for four, the worst start to any ODI innings, with the previous record held by non-Test side Canada s four for four against Zimbabwe in 2006.

Earlier, Pakistan lost opening match to archrival India.

The team will now take on Zimbabwe, United Arab Emirates, South Africa and Ireland in the remaining group matches.
