ABU DHABI (AFP) - Sri Lanka were 186-4 in their second innings at close on the third day of the first Test against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

Opener Kaushal Silva was out in the last over for 81 while Dinesh Chandimal was not out 24 as Sri Lanka have an overall lead of just seven runs with six wickets intact.

Kumar Sangakkara made 55.

They had conceded a 179-run lead after Pakistan made 383 in their first innings in reply to Sri Lanka's 204.

Paceman Bilawal Bhatti took 2-65 in Sri Lanka's second inning while Junaid Khan had figures of 2-46.
