In constant contact with Davis: US State Dept.

US claims that it is in constant contact with Raymond Davis and is pressurising Pakistan to accept Raymond Davis as a diplomat.

In Washington, spokesperson of US State Department P J Crowley said that Raymond Davis has the diplomatic immunity; however Pakistani government does not have the diplomatic documents. He also hopes that court will soon release Raymond Davis and proceedings are ongoing in the Pakistani court. He refused to comment further upon this issue.
