Washington: Clinton asks Libya to stop bloodshed

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Monday strongly condemned violence in Libya and called on the Libyan government to end this bloodshed; crackdown against protestors must end immediately.

In a statement, US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton said that we join the international community in strongly condemning the violence in Libya and now is the time to stop this unacceptable bloodshed. She maintained that it is sole responsibility of Libyan government o respect the universal rights of its people, including the right to free expression and assembly.
