Afghan Elections: Extremist activities should go unreported
Afghan Government has appealed to the local and international media to refrain from reporting the extremist activities during the presidential elections while the human rights organizations believe it a censorship. Afghan National Security Council believes that the governments request is to make Afghan peoples large scale participation possible in the elections. On the other hand human rights organization Human Rights Watch says that this step is an attempt to impose censorship. Taliban have warned the people to stay indoors for remaining safe from the attacks on the polling day.
