Lahore: Man killed on resisting a robbery attempt, robbers arrested
A 45 year old man has been killed in Lahore on resisting a robbery attempt, however, police has arrested the robbers.According to police, Khurram Shahzad, a resident of Sara-e-Alamgir (near Jehlum) came to Lahore for some business. While returning, in the area of Gujjar Pura police station two armed men stopped him on gun-point and tried to rob him. On resisting they opened fire at Khurram Shahzad who got killed on the spot. After hearing the firing sounds, Mohafiz Force reacted and did a successful operation arresting both the robbers and then handed them over to CIA. Names of the robbers are Sheraz baig and Zain-ul-Abideen, as told by the police sources.
