The Twitter account of Milind Deora has reportedly been suspended.

It is not clear whether this was done due to some technical glitch, hacking or as part of the governments crackdown on social media. Another speculation doing rounds is that the account may have been reported to Twitter as being a fake or parody account, leading to its suspension. Twitter has recently blocked parody accounts operating under the names of PMO and Manmohan Singh.Currently, a search for the minister of state for communications and information technology Milind Deora on Twitter shows there is no user by that name, while reports from the Wall Street Journal said that those accessing his handle (@milinddeora) received the message The profile you are trying to view has been suspended. The spokesman for the Home Ministry, Kuldeep Dhatwalia, denied having any information about this case, Wall Street Journal said. However, Deora told a prominent daily that his account is getting verified, hence has been temporarily suspended.
