Barcelona booked a birth in Champions League final after a 1-1 draw against Real Madrid.

Barcelona reached the Champions League final for the second time in three years when a 1-1 draw at home to Real Madrid in their semi-final second leg sent the 2009 winners through 3-1 on aggregate. After playing a quiet and goalless first half, both teams resorted to an aggressive strategy and launched many attacks on each other’s goal posts. Barca went ahead when Andres Iniestas fine pass enabled Pedro to rip through the Real defence in the 54th minute.Real levelled pull off the equaliser just 10 minutes later when Marcelo fired in after Angel di Maria hit the post. The Catalans, who have won the tournament on three previous occasions - 1992, 2006 and 2009 - will learn of their Wembley opponents when United, who have a 2-0 lead from the first leg, entertain German side Schalke at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
