Dunya News

It has been two weeks since the World Cup 2011 started but the matches with the smaller teams are one sided with the bigger, experienced teams at an advantage. The matches have failed to attract audience unlike matches between Sri Lanka and Pakistan or India and England.

Out of the 14 teams in the World Cup, people had expected four of them to create major upsets but so far, the teams have done nothing but disappoint the audiences. Their below par performance has not attracted the audiences. The four teams have so far played two matches each but no team has been able to take a win. After the Football World Cup and the Olympics, the Cricket World Cup is the most watched event in the world. The audiences are now only waiting for the matches between the big teams as all other matches are making the mega event rather boring.
