Lahore: Palestinian football team arrives

A 16-member Palestinian football team arrived to play 2 matches against Pakistan. This is Palestinian teams first visit to Pakistan, Dunya News report.

General Secretary Pakistan Football Federation Shehryar Ahmad received the Palestinian team at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore. Officials of Punjab Football Federation were also present on the occasion.The Palestinian team comprises 5 officials and 11 players while the 12 players included in Palestinian team will arrive tomorrow.The Palestinian team will play its first match on 1st March at 8pm in Punjab Football Stadium Lahore, while it will play another match against on 4th March in Peoples Liyari Stadium Karachi and entry in all the matches would be free.The Palestinian team was shifted to a hotel in Gulberg amid tight security.
