Khan took to Twitter to break the news but the break up got uglier with Makhdoom's 'truth'

(Web Desk) – British star boxer Amir Khan and fashion model Faryal Makhdoom are no longer together as Khan broke the news on Twitter prompting ugly replies from ex-wife with the couple putting a bitter end to around four years of marriage.

Khan posted messages on social media platform to announce that Makhdoom is interested in heavyweight champion British Anthony Joshua.

Khan landed the final punch by stating: "Mans like Joshua can have my left overs!"

Khan had married New York City-based fashion model Faryal Makhdoom in 2013.

"Lol moved up in the weight classes lol. Trust me I ain t the jealous type. No need to send me pictures of the men your talking to," the British boxer wrote.

Khan took to the social media to lay bare the breakup that has just gotten uglier.

Faryal has evidence to destroy Khans career

Makhdoom did not wait for the mudslinging to begin and jumped to accuse Khan of adultery and cheating. "Bad role model, always around women , alcohol and then he calls himself a Muslim and runs a charity," she wrote.

Terming Khan a 30 year old baby, Makhdoom likened herself to being a single mother and stated that she pays the house bills and takes care of their minor daughter all by her own while Khan is out messing around.

Makhdoom went on to delete all of her tweets on the issue

The Pakistan-origin fashion model also hit Khan where it assumingly hurt the most. She wrote: "Accusing other boxers just because your boxing career is finished. Man up amir."

She hit back to Khans  golddigger  remark by mentioning Bolton boxer s Skype scandal. In January this year, an indecent video of Khan was leaked on the Internet in which he was seen pleasing himself whilst on a video call.

Reportedly, he was on a Skype call with an alleged ex-girlfriend whom he was linked with by the tabloids back in 2010.

Makhdoom had defended her then husband at the time but now she does seem in a mood to not hold it back anymore.

She wrote on social media today: "After all these years. Ive always defending a cheat, always stuck around for him, always had his back. And I m called a gold digger?"

The model further asserted that Khan had split up with his father and uncle last year because they "robbed" him of the money he had.

On the other hand, the stance that Joshua has taken has tangled the situation if it wasn t before.

The 2016 family drama

Makhdoom had earlier taken to the public in 2016 her issue with her in-laws that ended with Khan splitting with his father and uncle who managed his team.

It all started with Makhdoom posting a series of updates on her Snapchat in December 2016 claiming of being subjected to domestic abuse by her in-laws.

"Don’t get your sons married if you’re going to abuse and bully the wife. I’ve always been so quiet but seriously, this message is for everyone! When you bring someone’s daughter, treat her as your own. Your son will be much happier and so will you," she had stated.

Not long after that, Khan s family broke silence on the issue with his parents asserting that they had asked Makhdoom to do away with  irreligious  dressing.

The boxer s parents denied the accusations of domestic abuse and said that that they could not imagine of torturing son’s wife. However, they said that her way of dressing was objected to as it was not conforming to the Islamic faith.

They did reduce her claims to being mere means for cheap publicity.

Khan removed his father, uncle and friend from his management team following the family fued.

Amir’s father was his manager, uncle Taz was his consultant and Saj, Amir’s lifelong friend as well as the best man at his wedding, was his assistant.

Khan had maintained then that he loves his parents but boxing was his business. He said that time had come to separate business and family. He said that he was faithful to the family and expected the same from them.

Around that time, Khan did not show up at her younger brother Haroon s wedding who is also a boxer.
