Amir Khan removes father from boxing management after domestic feud
Amir's father was his manager.
LONDON (Dunya News) – Pakistan-born British boxer Amir Khan has removed his father Shah Khan, uncle Taz Khan and friend Saj Mohammed from his management team after the domestic altercation between wife and parents.
Amir’s father was his manager, uncle Taz was his consultant and Saj, Amir’s lifelong friend as well as the best man at his wedding, was the assistant.
Amir Khan said that he loves his parents but boxing is his business and time has come to isolate business from family. He said that he is faithful to the family and expects the same from them.
The boxer told that he has talked to his family over the matter and his father, uncle and friend had already given the hints of leaving his management team.
The clash of Amir’s wife Faryal Makhddom with Amir’s family is going on for a while now, and Amir did not even attend the marriage of his younger brother Haroon recently.
