Every club would have to sign an affidavit against use of steroids, says associations president

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Bodybuilding federation has revoked registration of clubs after deaths of four builders in the ongoing month, Dunya News reported Wednesday.

According to federation’s president, committees comprising of five members each have been formed in provinces to probe the cases. Fresh registration of different clubs would be conducted, he added.

He further said that every club would have to sign an affidavit against use of steroids.

Gold medalist in South Asian Championship Humayun Khurram and Hamid Ali were killed owing to use of banned steroids. Another two belonging to Gujranwala, Matloob Haider and Rizwan also fell victim of the substances.
