TOKYO (AP) - The Chiefs scored five tries to hand the Christchurch-based Crusaders a 40-16 loss on Saturday, the most points the Chiefs have scored against the fellow New Zealand side since Super Rugby began back in 1996.
The Crusaders were playing without injured All Blacks Dan Carter and Israel Dagg and the suspended Owen Franks.
Sonny Bill Williams was among the Chiefs try-scorers while All Blacks flyhalf Aaron Cruden kicked three penalties and three conversions for 15 points.
