Shisha smoking ban in DHA Lahore challenged

Act of banning Shisha smoking in DHA Lahore restaurants has been challenged in Lahore High Court.

Restaurants owners of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Lahore argued through their plea submitted in Lahore High Court that Shisha smoking is not prohibited in hotels and restaurants of Lahore therefore, prohibition in DHA only is illogical.Chief Justice Lahore High Court said that Shisha smoking is prohibited in Amratsar city only and DHA is not in Amratsar.If this ban is not imposed in other restaurants of the city then why this imposition is in DHA, the CJ enquired.The court sought reply from DHA management within 10 days in this regards.
