Nawaz says President has no faith in judiciary

Nawaz Sharif said that President Zardari expressed that he has no faith in Pakistans judiciary.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif on Monday strongly criticized President Asif Ali Zardari over his (Zardari) statement to accept decision of PCNS only in memo case.Nawaz said that his party respected the judiciary but President Zardari expressed through his statement that he has no faith in Pakistan’s judiciary.Talking to media after appearing before the memo commission, he said that memo was a first such case in the history of Pakistan. He said he was not going to blame anyone for it, but, he wanted to unveil the conspiracy against the country.“Secret memo scandal is a conspiracy against country’s integrity and he urges authorities to unmask culprits behind the scam” Nawaz said. Hesaid that perpetrators of memogate should be exposed.Nawaz said he is a petitioner and showed respect by appearing before the commission. The PML-N chief added that Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) has done nothing on this issue so far.The former prime minister said that he was a petitioner in the memogate and he showed his respect for the commission by appearing before it added that he also appeared before the apex court when he was prime minister of this country that shows how respect he has for the courts.Replying a query regarding President Asif Ali Zardari’s remarks on NRO, he said that the president should not link the NRO to Benazir Bhutto’s grave.“Linking NRO case with BB grave was insult of her grave and these kinds of words are way to escape from real issue” Nawaz said adding that $60 million deposit in Swiss banks was wealth of the nation that should be brought back in the country.On a query he said the media to ask Army chief and DG, ISI why they didn’t appear before the commission.Responding another question regarding former military ruler Prevez Musharraf possible return, Nawaz said he was glad to hear that he was coming back.
