PIA flight carrying MPs makes emergency landing

PIA flight PK-369 from Islamabad to Karachi made emergency landing at Multan airport.

Members of Parliament are reportedly amongst the passengers. The flight made emergency landing due to a technical fault, said a spokesman for the national flag carrier. The politicians and parliamentarians amongst the passengers are Waseem Akhter, Wasee Jaleel, Fauzia Wahab, Qamar Mansoor and Nadeed Ehsan. One engine of the plane is said to have gone out of order, while the PIA spokesman said that the flight would take off after check-up at the workshop.
