Poor response of authorities has ignited affectees fury as thousands still live under open sky.

In Goth Bagrani of Tando Ghulam Ali near Badin, a 50-feet breach in a dyke named Imam Wah (West) inundated more than twenty villages. Affected villagers staged a protest against the sluggish response of the Irrigation Department.Thousands of affectees are still lying under the open sky awaiting food and other necessities from the authorities in Badin district. Camps in urban areas are distributing relief items whereas in rural areas, complaints of shortage of necessities are rampant. Rainwater is receding in different drainage channels, but areas around major flood nullahs are still inundated. The protesters blocked traffic by staging a sit-in on the Karachi-Badin highway against the unavailability of relief items.
