Karachi: Two units of Bin Qasim power plant closed

Loadshedding can increase as two units of Bin Qasim power plant have been closed due to fault.

Prolonged loadshedding also continued on second day of Ramazan in Karachi. The power outages during Sehri, Iftari and Travih timings increased difficulties of the people observing fasting.KESC had announced loadshedding of 4and a half hour but 10 to 12-hour power outages continue in different areas of Karachi, while more than 15-hour loadshedding continues in some areas of the city.
