Resignation of Governor State Bank be inquired: Qureshi

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that heads of departments were resigning due to poor monetary policies.

Ex-minister for foreign affairs, while talking to media before the parliament building, said that members of economic team including the Auditor General Pakistan and the chief Economist of Planning Commission were resigning. He said that the government could not collect revenue worth Rs 1992 billion last year.He claimed that the government received heavy amount from the presidents of different commercial banks and heads of companies in June and promised to return the amount in July.The government returned Rs 45 billion to the real owners after befooling the people. Now additional load of taxes would be imposed on common man.
