MQM announces day of mourning, shopping centres closed, march postponed

All the Karachiites observed mourning day on the call of the MQM due to law and order situation.

Trade centres remained closed while traffic on roads was hardly seen.It aims at expressing solidarity with the relatives of victims in the incidents of firing and violence.Patrol pumps were closed while all the academic institutions including Karachi University postponed the entire examinations schedule.MQM members of Sindh Assembly also postponed their peace walk from the Karachi Press Club to the CM House.According to the announcement of MQM Rabita Committee, all the Haq prast of MQM would gather in Sindh Assembly and file an application to hold a session in emergency.Likewise, the activists of the MQM also observed strike in Hyderabad, wearing black bands on their arms.People waved black flags on their homes. Incidents of firing were also reported in different areas.
