Shab-e-Meraj is being observed across the country with great respect and religious zeal tonight.

The Muslims every year on 27th of Rajab (Islamic calendar) observe the Shab-e-Meraj, the night the Holy Prophet (PBUH) embarked on a special journey to meet Allah Almighty, crossing seven skies riding the heavenly ‘al-Buraq’.The Holy Prophet (PBUH) continued his heavenly tour until he reached very close to the Throne of Allah Almighty and attained the utmost nearness to Him. Special programmes of Mehfil-e-Naat and prayers are being held in mosques.
