Cable operators announce end of Karachi strike
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Commissioner Karachi has successfully resolved the dispute between Cable Operators Association and K-Electric, resulting in the cable operators announcing to end their citywide strike.
Chairman Cable Operators Khalid Arain said that he was grateful to the Commissioner for his assistance for giving reassurance that their issues will be resolved.
On the occasion, Commissioner Karachi said that K-Electric and cable operators should continue their operations. A committee has been formed to maintain a working relationship between the two institutions, he added.
Representatives of the Cable Operators Association also offered to work together with K-Electric to remove electricity wires.
