Notification giving judicial authority to commissioners, deputy commissioners suspended
LHC has warned of serving contempt notice on the authorities who issued the notification.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday has suspended notification that gave judicial power to commissioners and deputy commissioners in Punjab.
According to details, Chief Justice of LHC Muhammad Qasim Khan expressed resentment over the performance of Punjab government and said that the provincial administration has devastated the system.
He also warned of serving contempt notice on the authorities who issued the notification.
Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar will be sent a notice if the notification gets annulled in case’s final decision, the LHC CJ said.
