Hyderabad: Protest against unscheduled loadshedding
Residents of Faqir Kapar Chowk of Hyderabad staged a protest against unscheduled loadshedding.
HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – Residents of Faqir Kapar Chowk of Hyderabad staged a protest against unscheduled loadshedding on Friday night, Dunya News reported.
The protesters were of the view that unscheduled and long duration power cuts are creating severe problems for children and elderly people in the extreme hot weather.
Angry protesters blocked the roads in the area by burning tyres. Angry mob also raised slogans against Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) officials and demanded restoration of electricity.
They also demanded of the HESCO to immediately end the unscheduled loadshedding in the area. The protesters dispersed peacefully after successful negotiation with police.
