Member Sindh Assembly Shahana Ashar infected with coronavirus
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Shahana Ashar, a female member of the Sindh Assembly, has tested positive for coronavirus. She left the meeting proceedings after the confirmation of her test.
It may be recalled that Shahana is a member of the Provincial Assembly and belongs to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). Her diagnosis was revealed to her during the assembly session.
During the Sindh Assembly session, PPP MPA Mir Shabbir Bijarani revealed that Shahana Asher’s corona test has come back positive. Following the revelation, the female member left the meeting.
Shabbir Bijarani also told the meeting that the test report of another MQM and Sindh Assembly member, Kunwar Naveed, has not been received yet. He said that those members whose coronavirus test reports have not been received should not attend the assembly session.
