KSA pays tribute to Pak for regional peace efforts: Saudi Deputy Defence Minister

Prince Khalid bin Salman said that KSA wants to further strengthen relations with Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) –Saudi leadership has praised Pakistan for its efforts for regional peace and security.

According to details, Saudi Deputy Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. During the meeting, bilateral issues, regional situation and global issues were discussed. PM also appreciated the growing economic ties between the two countries.

The Prime Minister apprised the visiting guest about the situation in Indian occupied Kashmir. During the meeting, Pak-Saudi relations were discussed.

Prime Minister Imran Khan urged the global community to play its role in preventing aggressive polices and Hindutva ideology of RSS-inspired BJP government in Occupied Kashmir.

Talking to Saudi Deputy Minister of Defence Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, he said recent targeted killings of Muslims in New Delhi and the desecration of their places of worship are matter of grave concern for entire global community.

According to sources, Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman conveyed the message of Saudi leadership to Prime Minister Imran Khan paying tribute to Pakistan for regional peace and security.

Prince Khalid bin Salman said that KSA wants to further strengthen relations with Pakistan.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defence of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Head Quarters (GHQ).

During the meeting, views were exchanged on issues of mutual interest including defence and security cooperation and measures to further enhance bilateral defence collaboration.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), both countries discussed overall regional security situation including situation in IOJ& K.

The visiting dignitary acknowledged professionalism of Pakistan Army and thanked for the assistance provided and vowed to extend full support to Pakistan’s efforts for peace in the region.
