Terrorists may target Fazlur Rehman: Interior Ministry

The Interior Ministry informed security agencies that Fazlur Rehman could be targeted by terrorists.

Letter number 223 issued by the Interior Ministry informed security agencies that terrorist organisations could target government agencies, secret agencies, police including security forces and important buildings could be potential targets.The letter further states that terrorists are planning to target Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Interior Ministry advised all security and sensitive agencies to exchange information and issued guidelines to further improve security.
