Weather forecast: New spell of rains expected on Friday

A new spell of rains will start on Friday which is expected to continue until April 16.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, another westerly wave is likely to affect upper parts of the country from Friday which is likely to persist for next two-three days and cause scattered thundershower with intervals on weekend. Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country and dry weather is expected during next 24-48 hours.Dry weather is likely in most parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh during next two days.The weather will also remain dry in Balochsitan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24-36 hours. However, rain with thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of northeast Balochistan.The highest maximum temperature was recorded 40 C in Chor, while minimum temperature was recorded 02 C in Kalam.
