Central authority to be formed to bring back looted money to Pakistan

A draft of mutual legal assistance has also been sent to Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government has decided to form central authority to take step for bringing back the looted money to the country.

According to details, members of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will be included in the committee.

The law ministry has also sent a draft of mutual legal assistance to Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan in this regard.

Earlier, Punjab Information and Culture Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said the government was striving to bring the looted money back to the country.

Addressing a ceremony in Lahore, the minister said fifteen thousand fake bank accounts have so far been identified. He said Imran Khan has no property abroad and he has lightened up the name of the country across the globe.
