The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has given countless sacrifices for the restoration of democracy, said President Asif Ali Zardari in a meeting of the Punjab PPP parliamentary party held in Islamabad.According to the presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar, President Zardari said that he was aware of the difficulties faced by the PPP lawmakers in Punjab after their exit from the provincial government. He said that the PPP parliamentarians should avoid doing anything which could harm the democracy.
