Islamabad: Qureshi reproaches FOs stance in Raymond case

Former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that he clearly directed the Foreign Office to inform the LHC that Raymond Davis did not enjoy immunity but it sought 3 weeks time for coming up with reply.

Talking to media in Islamabad, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the 3-week period clearly points to links to the closed doors Diyat deal made possible for Raymond Davis.Earlier, during a lecture regarding future of Pakistan, Qureshi said that all political parties, leaders and the masses were responsible for current situation faced by the country.He stressed that economic progress was impossible without expanding tax net in Pakistan.
