ECP revises election schedule, polling date remains same
Last date for withdrawal of candidature and publication of final list is June 29
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday revised the election program for the upcoming general election scheduled for July 25.
According to a notification of the ECP, the candidates now can file their nomination papers until June 11 and the preliminary list of the candidates will also be issued on the same day.
The scrutiny of the nomination papers will now be completed till June 19 instead of June 14, while the appeals could be filed over approval of rejection of nomination papers would be filed till June 22.
Last date for deciding of appeals by appellate tribunals is June 27 whilst the revised list of candidates will be published on June 28.
Last date for withdrawal of candidature and publication of final list is June 29.
