Punjab CM says SC will dispense justice to Kh Asif
(Web Desk) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the Supreme Court will dispense justice to former foreign minister Khawaja Asif.
“Kh Asif in a precious asset of the PML-N and we are standing by him in testing time,” tweeted the chief minister following the disqualification of Khawaja Asif by the Islamabad High Court.

Meanwhile, Khawaja Asif Thursday said that he would challenge the IHC verdict in the apex court.

“I have not concealed anything,” he said while talking to a private television channel and added he had declared all his assets and paid taxes.
Subsequently, the Election Commission of Pakistan de-notified Kh Asif as a member National Assembly (MNA) from NA-110 Sialkot-I with immediate effect.
