CM Balochistan puts faith in Zardari for Senate leadership
Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has entrusted Asif Ali Zardari to nominate Chairman and Deputy Chairman.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Amid political maneuvering for the leadership of the Senate by political parties, Chief Minister of Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has entrusted Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari to nominate Chairman and Deputy Chairman.
Putting his faith in the former President of Pakistan, Abdul Quddoos Bizenjo has asked members to vote for the candidate nominated by the PPP, Saleem Mandviwala.
Pakistan Tehreek-i-insaf has already pledged support to the CM Balochistan for the coveted positions in the Upper House.
PPP won 12 and PTI won 6 seats in the recent Senate elections.
