LHC rejects plea challenging NOC for artists to visit India

The Lahore High Court has returned the plea with objections filed by advocate Noshaib A Khan, challenging the condition of NOC for Pakistani artists and journalists before travel to India. The court asked the petitioner to remove the objections.

As per details, a writ petition filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) challenging the condition of NOC for Pakistani artists and journalists before travel to India.According to the petitioner, the Interior Ministry has issued an order that NOC is mandatory for all artists and journalists before travel to India. The petitioner has requested the court to suspend the order stating that order was against the law of human rights and would create the problems for the artists and journalists.
